There’s a trail that flows throughout the garden, allowing visitors to take in the beauty all around. There’s also plenty of space for picnics, with benches to relax on. The Greensboro Arboretum is a perfect spot to converse with friends, relax the mind, or enjoy a beautiful day.
Tate Street Coffee House, just nine minutes from campus, is a cool spot to visit when in the mood for coffee and live music.
What some may say is a hole in the wall spot, greets visitors with warm welcomes and the aroma of fresh coffee.
Not a coffee person? Fret not, their menu is versatile and includes hot chocolate, smoothies, teas, baked goods and more.
The shop also hosts live music shows on Thursday nights and weekends.
Love cats? Well, seven minutes away from campus is a cozy cat cafe!
The Crooked Tail Cat Cafe offers a date with fuzzy, cuddly cats. So set up a reservation to spend an hour de-stressing with friends and felines.
The cafe offers an array of drinks and snacks, from boba teas to themed lattes.
When in the mood for delicious drinks and warm cuddles, visit the Crooked Tail Cat Cafe. And, no, you can’t take the cats home.
Feeling educational? The Greensboro Science Center is just 15 minutes away from campus.
The center contains an aquarium, which offers a beautiful walk through aquatic creatures.
That’s not all though, the science center is also home to an interactive zoo with enclosures for all kinds of animals!
