N.C. A&T men’s basketball team will be facing the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday in Lexingotn, Ky. after beating the Flames of Liberty 73 to 72. In first game of the NCAA tourney, the Aggies pulled out a nail biter in the last few seconds by defending the Flames drive to the basket. Freshman forward Bruce Beckford led the Aggies with 16 points and junior guard Lamont Middleton had 14 points. This is the Aggies men’s basketball team first NCAA tournament win in school history.
