Former mayor Yvonne Johnson has been the frontrunner in the race for City Counil at-large. As of last night, she has outpaced 14 canidates. Johnson took home 22.7 percent of the vote.
Johnson main competition, Nancy Vaughan who follows behind her with 16.3 percent of the vote. Other canidates, Marikay Abuzuatizer, Wayne Abraham, Chris Lawyer and Danny Thompson got through the primary as well.
All six will battle for three seats on the City Council in the Nov. 8 general election.
