Q: Why is it important to keep your hair trimmed?

A: If you are unsure of why you should trim split ends or dead ends. Consider trims hair maintenance. Think of dead ends as a disease. If the “disease” goes untreated they continue to eat away at the healthy hair. As any disease can be treated the hair needs to be treated in order to preserve its healthiness. In order to preserve your healthy hair trims are needed every 6-8 weeks. In order to avoid getting a MAJOR cut, trims are simple and easy. Not much hair is taken off with trims, only around ¼ inches. Trims are used to keep hair healthy and to avoid an unwanted major cut.
