Jordan Brunson, the current Mr. N.C. A&T, recently placed in the 7th place in the 8th Annual Mr. HBCU Kings’ Leadership Conference and Competition Feb. 19. Brunson competed against 15 other kings at Lincoln University in Lincoln, Mo. The conference, themed “Masterpiece,” was an opportunity for the kings to gather further knowledge and skills to prepare for future leadership roles in throughout the nation. The competitors were judged in five categories: Oratory, Talent, Ease of Manner/Projection and Presentation/Image. Jordan’s oratory was an original piece that illustrated the current state of HBCU men. His talent was a monologue from the Broadway play, “A Raisin in the Sun.”
