Why we’re watching this show: For every person who has ever had a dream of being a famous musician, or anyone with a competitive streak, this is the show for you.

Glee is a show about a young music teacher trying to get a high school Glee club in ready for a national competition. Through this preparation, the fun loving cast of characters features some of the more popular up to date music, singing and dancing their way down the hallways of the campus.

The teacher also has his share of controversy as he takes some of the athletes from their respective sports and gets them into the Glee club, along with many other campus groups where singers wouldn’t be expected.

The show premiered Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox.
