“The end is only the beginning.” One of the most anticipated films of the year, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1, was released Nov. 19 at midnight.
This is the seventh movie shown since the start of the wizard experience in 2001.
The cast includes familiar faces seen throughout the franchise like Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasely). Other actors are Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, and Alan Rickman.
The movie starts off by trying to keep Potter (Radcliffe) safe.
Voldemort (Fiennes), Potters enemy, main objective is to kill the only wizard he was unsuccessful in killing.
With the tale of the Deathly Hallows, killing Potter makes it more possible than ever.
Throughout the movie Potter, Granger and Weasley must search and destroy the Horcruxes, items that holds Voldemort’s immortality, while hiding from Voldemort and his evil followers.
Potters friends want to keep him safe because he is the chosen one to kill Voldemort.
All of the other Harry Potter movies led up to the final showdown between the good wizards versus the bad wizards.
With the help of his friends, Potter must save the fate of the wizard world.
The Harry Potter series was based on the best-selling novel written by J.K.Rowling.
The movie has turned into one of the biggest franchises of the 21st century.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is originally one book, but producer, David Yates, decided to split it up into two installments to prolong the Potter experience.
This film is action packed from beginning to end and keeps you wondering what will happen next.
Potter takes you on an adventure that has you thinking you’re a part of the movie.
The anticipation of what comes next is unavoidable.
The ending will keep you asking who will win the battle between Potter and Voldemort.
A suggestion before watching this movie is watching movies 1-6 or you will get lost.
A lot of the things that are mentioned were shown previously.
The finale of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, will be released July 15, 2011.
