University police reported the following incidents during the week of Feb. 6-12:
Feb. 6VandalismThe Cooper Hall Residence Director’s door was vandalized. There are no suspects at this time. Estimated damage is $175.
Feb. 7Damage to state propertyAn 18-wheeler en route to Harris Teeter struck the fence along the south parking lot of the 1020 Wendover facility. Estimated damage is $500.
Vehicle accidentAn unknown vehicle struck a university employee’s vehicle and left the scene in the Morrow Circle parking lot. There are no suspects at this time. Estimated damage is $500.
Feb. 9Vehicle accidentBenjamin Edwards reported that he struck a parked Honda Civic on Nocho Street while attempting to back his 1998 Isuzu pickup into a parking space. There were no injuries reported. Estimated damage is $450.
Vehicle accidentShayna Miller reported that while backing out of a parking space at Merrick Hall, her 1998 Nissan Maxima struck Trevonda Weather’s 1992 Saturn. There were no injuries reported. Estimated damage is $300.
Feb. 10Vehicle accidentThomas Parker reported that while driving his 1997 Grand Cherokee at the Aggie Inn, he struck Eboni Duke’s 1995 Toyota Corolla. There were no injuries reported. Estimated damage is $600.
LarcenyLawrence Minnis reported that someone took his Nokia cellular phone and leather case. Estimated value is $90.
Feb. 12Breaking and enteringRoommates of 307 Cooper Hall reported that persons unknown entered their residence while they were at football practice. Possible entry was by way of window ledge since one of the screens was found at the end of the hallway. No suspects have been reported.
Vehicle damageAn off-campus student reported that her vehicle was struck while parked at Haley Hall. There are no suspects at this time.
Drug violationOfficers and resident director of Scott Hall C found drug paraphernalia in a room at Scott Hall. No charges have been filed and all evidence has been seized.
Unauthorized use of vehicleA resident of Scott Hall reported that he left the keys to his vehicle in his room over the weekend and that while he was away his roommate used his vehicle without his permission and was involved in an off-campus accident. The student is requesting that the matter be heard by student affairs.
TrespassingVincent Kelly, non-student, was arrested in Scott Hall on a trespassing charge. Kelly had been arrested Jan. 30 on a trespassing charge and banned from campus Jan. 30 in connection with a counterfeit money case. Kelly was placed under $500 bond and banned from campus again.
