A&T’s Estarlin Paulino was named the MEAC Pitcher of the Week.
Paulino, the 5’7” senior from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, led the Aggies to an 8-1 win against the Florida A&M rattlers last weekend allowing only one run and didn’t allow any walks to earn this week’s accolades.
The left-handed pitcher also struck out a season best of 11 batters in the shutout against FAMU.
Aggies Joe Mackey and Tyler Boone, both relief pitchers, were also among the top performers in the conference.
The Aggies are on a five game winning streak and will try to keep it alive as they travel to Radford today to take on the Highlanders at 6 p.m.
