Why we’re watching this show: If you’re looking for a show that’s guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat this fall, then you’re looking for Flash Forward. Imagine being able to see your future six months from now.

A lot of things can change in six months. You could be in a new relationship, you could have a baby on the way, you may even have a new job or no job at all. Now back to the present, did you like what you saw?

The dilemma that people are faced with in the new series on ABC is whether to prevent their future from occurring or to let fate take over. In one big flash, the entire population of the Earth blacked out for two minutes and seventeen seconds.

In this short period they were able to see a glimpse of their futures six months ahead. One woman was having a sonogram and she doesn’t even have a boyfriend. Did she get raped? Another woman was in bed with a man who isn’t her husband. This one man in particular didn’t have a vision at all. Did he die?
