Jared Baldwin

Coming into college Jared Baldwin knew he was going to have to commit himself to hard work and exceed expectations in order to perform well academically and athletically. Now a senior on the North Carolina A&T men’s track and field team, the Greensboro-native has managed to successfully navigate the treacherous waters of being a student athlete, and still remains focused on his goals for the future.

Baldwin, a triple jumper, will compete this week in the 2012 East Track and Field Preliminary Round in Jacksonville, Fla. As a computer engineering major, he strives to go above and beyond what is expected, and has an impressive GPA to show for it.

With the unconditional support of his family and his own unwavering will succeed, Baldwin is a great example of a student-athlete who can balance the pressures of school and track, and come out on top in both areas.
