The soon to be third largest building is designed to be the social and cultural hub of campus providing amenities and services which will include an expanded bookstore, more dining options, and meeting spaces for conferences and student organizations with updated technology throughout the building. The new student union replaces the Memorial Student Union which would have celebrated its 50th year in 2017. If all goes according to plan, the new facility should open either late 2017 or early 2018.
