“font-size: 12pt;”>The SGA election for this position began with eleven girls and ended with a run-off election between Woodard and Dekia Virgil.

“font-size: 12pt;”>“It feels amazing to be Miss Freshman”, said the Raleigh native. “I posted statuses on Facebook, my friends wore my shirts, and I talked to my classmates to prepare for this. I am so excited.”

“font-size: 12pt;”>Students were allowed to vote for the run-off election in Exhibit Hall during 8:00am-6:00pm. At 6:05, Shakira Redd, a junior psychology major, announced that the competition numbers was close, but the winner was none other than Woodard.
