You are cordially invited to the wedding of Bella and Edward as they start their new lives together. The release of the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” has been one of the most anticipated films since last year’s release of the series, “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” So good that the fourth film of one of cinemas profitable franchises made a huge opening of $139.5 million first weekend domestically and a worldwide launch of $283.5 million.
The fourth installment of one of the most profitable franchises in the cinema industry, ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” has added yet another film that Twihards will be talking about until the final film is released. The film stars Bella Swan played by Kristen Stewart, who now is moving into her marriage with her beloved soul mate, Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson. With the two happily wed and living in a luxury suite, Bella and Edward explore into intimacy with each other. The movie goes on of what many would call the perfect honeymoon but come to find out that they have an unexpected visitor. Yes, Bella is pregnant. Trying to hide the news from everyone in Forks except the Cullen family, Jacob played by Taylor Lautner, figured out that what Bella father has called, “an extended vacation,” to be a cover up.
Once finding out the truth behind their extended vacation, Jacob goes on a rampage of wondering what his next move will be. He now has to decide whether to kill his one true love and her child or fight his own kind to save her. With decisions running high, Jacob now is put together to work with the Cullen family for Bella’s sake.
As the tension between Edward and Jacob continues since the start, the two seemed to get along better this time around for the sake of Bella. Each individual’s perspective on their love for her was respected as Edward and Jacob work together on what seemed as her last moment alive.
The moment of truth came about when Bella went into labor. Her screams of pain urged Edward and Jacob to come to her rescue. After giving the birth, Bella went into a sudden cold stage, leaving Edward fighting to keep her alive. Meanwhile outside, the Cullen family was in a battle against the werewolves trying to get to the new child. Attempts to bring Bella back to life, Edward bites her all around her body to turn her hopefully bringing her back to life. Nothing happens. The chaos outside comes to a stop due to Jacob imprinting on Bella’s half-human, half-vampire baby girl, Renesmee. Imprinting is the involuntary mechanism by which shape-shifters (Jacob) find their soul-mates. Overall, the one with all the commotion in the film, is the one who saved the day and the life of the child.
Right when you thought everything was over, a series of Bella’s hair color turning brown, her skin getting regular pigmentation, her broken ribs repairing, and her soul covered in Edward’s many bites, the once dead by birth is now dead by bite. Bella is alive, but with blood shed eyes and awaiting her next move as a vampire.
Grade: A+
