North Carolina A&T State University regrets to announce the death of Christopher Cleary, 40, a utility worker for F. A. Williams Dining Hall. He was employed by Sodexo, LLC. Mr. Cleary, who returned to work after being on medical leave, died today, Sept. 5, after collapsing on the cafeteria loading dock. Two employees administered CPR until emergency services arrived. He was immediately transported to Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital where he later died.
“The Aggie family is deeply saddened by our loss,” said Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr. “We will keep the Cleary family in our thoughts and prayers.”
