ATTENTION ALL FALL 2011 GRADUATING SENIORS: THE DEADLINE TO
REGISTER FOR GRADUATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 5PM TODAY
The deadline to apply for Fall 2011 graduation has been extended to today at 5 p.m. The original deadline was Sept. 2, however after a number of prospective graduates claimed to be unaware, officials extended this deadline.
According to Lester Lugo, director of registration and records, the official date to register for graduation was posted on the academic calendar as well as in a newsletter sent to students via email.
“A lot of students don’t read their ncat emails, and that was part of the problem.”
Despite that, he says the university wanted to capture as many graduates as possible so they opened up registration.
Students can apply for graduation in the Registrar Office.
